We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and industrial equipment, with a focus on Caterpillar machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance
- Conduct heavy equipment operation and maintenance tasks
- Utilize hand tools to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Execute brake repairs on industrial vehicles
- Welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs
- Repair and maintain air brake systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in diesel engine repair
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for diagnostics and repairs
- Capable of heavy lifting required in the maintenance of industrial machinery
- Experience with brake repair on heavy-duty vehicles
- Welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks
- Familiarity with air brake systems on industrial vehicles
