We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team here in Anchorage, AK. The ideal Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team here in Anchorage, AK. The ideal Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups.

Replace or repair faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
-
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

High school diploma or GED required; technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.

[5+] years of experience in diesel maintenance and repair.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
