Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in diesel truck maintenance, diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical wiring, and aftertreatment systems. If you're an experienced leader in the field, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Diesel Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel trucks and related systems.
- Leading and mentoring a team of mechanics, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Overseeing complex maintenance projects, including hydraulics, electrical wiring, and aftertreatment systems.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborating with the maintenance manager to establish efficient maintenance schedules.
- Utilizing modern diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in diesel truck maintenance.
- Expertise in diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical wiring, and aftertreatment systems.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and various vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- A commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
- A valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
