Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal Financial Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization and play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field plus 7 years of experience in financial analysis and transactional accounting or in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
- The experience must include 2 years in the public sector with experience in technical accounting principles
- 5 years in the private sector with experience in analysis experience.
- 5 years of management experience is required.
