We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Duties
- Develop and implement fleet production plans to meet operational goals
- Manage materials handling and inventory management processes
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Supervise transportation management activities
- Monitor profit loss statements and implement strategies for cost control
Experience
- Proven experience in production planning and materials handling
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
- Experience in transportation management is a plus
- Ability to analyze profit loss statements effectively
- Previous experience negotiating contracts is desirable
