Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager or Lead Shop Foreman to lead our team of technicians in providing exceptional customer service and performing top-notch maintenance and repairs
We would love a 2nd shift Candidate but open to a Hybrid Role here
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise other technicians in the shop to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs and inspections
- Perform complex repairs and inspections on a variety of vehicles, including brakes, diagnostics, hydraulics, engine components, exhaust systems
- Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
- Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service trucks We have our own fleet
- Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion
- Minimum of 10 years as a Foreman or Sr Diesel Mechanic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders
- Strong diagnostic, hydraulic and electronic testing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time (hours)
