Vitus Search Group has been asked to assist in a search for a Sr Landfill Operations Manager in Eaglepoint GA

Duties
A Landfill Operations manager is responsible for overseeing the safe disposal of waste, monitoring landfill conditions, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. They assist in the direction and scheduling of operations at the landfill, operate heavy equipment used in the operation and maintenance of the landfill, and lead, oversee, review, and perform the work involved in the supervision of all Landfill employees and Environmental Systems Technicians assigned to that location. The Landfill Operations Manager administers the efficient and cost-effective operation of the landfill while meeting or exceeding the requirements of the landfill operating license and the environmental laws, rules
