Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair International medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and DOT services.
- Repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipment.
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections, and labor performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work closely with service advisors and teammates to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
- Stay current with International and OEM training programs.
- 2+ years of diesel technician experience preferred.
- Experience working on International, Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit, or other heavy-duty diesel engines is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
- ASE and/or OEM certifications are preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
