Claims Quality Specialist Lead
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to $110,000 per year (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Claims Quality Specialist Lead to join our growing team in the Seattle area. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned General Liability claims professional who excels in quality assurance, auditing, and mentoring claims staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform quality audits of General Liability claim files, with a strong focus on bodily injury and premises liability
- Evaluate claim handling for compliance with internal standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Identify trends, gaps, and training opportunities to improve overall claim quality
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to claims handlers and leadership
- Partner with claims management to drive continuous improvement and consistency in claim handling
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on what constitutes a high-quality, well-documented claim file
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience handling General Liability claims, specifically bodily injury and premises liability
- Solid understanding of end-to-end GL claim handling and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to assess and articulate claim quality and file documentation standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a GL Claims Lead, Supervisor, or Quality Specialist
- Claims auditing or quality assurance experience (highly preferred)
- Experience coaching or mentoring claims professionals
