Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel-powered vehiclest. This position requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics tools.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.

  • Diagnose engine and system issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection.

  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and parts used.

  • Keep work area clean and organized and adhere to safety protocols.

  • Communicate effectively with the service team and customers regarding repair needs and timelines.

  • Stay up to date on new technology and industry practices.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in diesel technology preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks or equipment.

  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred:

  • ASE Diesel Certification(s)

  • Experience with brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, or International

  • CDL Class A or B
