Overnight Diesel / Fleet Mechanic – North Houston, TX

We are currently seeking a dependable Overnight Mechanic to join our growing team in North Houston, TX. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. If you enjoy working independently during overnight hours and want strong earning potential through overtime opportunities, we’d like to hear from you.

Schedule: Overnight shift with consistent overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

  • Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, engine components, and drivetrain systems

  • Conduct inspections to identify potential mechanical problems

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of mechanical experience (diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment preferred)

  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems

  • Basic tools required

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently on overnight shifts

  • Valid driver’s license
