This role combines clinical autonomy with strong team support. You will work across a growing market, performing varied respiratory procedures while partnering with a collaborative, training-focused branch team.
Key highlights

Work Arrangement: On-site daily with 2–3 days on the road.

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Travel: 30–45 minutes to first stop, up to 1 hour occasionally; telehealth used when possible.
Salary range
-
$31 – $34 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
OnCall transparency
-
On-call rotation every 3rd week; flexibility needed for home visits and hospital support.
What you’ll do
-
Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow?ups
-
Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
-
Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
-
Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
-
Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
-
Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation

Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition

Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs

Performs other duties as required
What we look for
-
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active IL RT license
-
Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.

Valid driver's license
-
Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
Education
-
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
-
Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy

Hold a current CPR Certification
-
Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
