Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Route Supervisor to oversee and manage our delivery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient route planning, supervise drivers, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet customer demands
- Supervise and train delivery drivers on safe driving practices and customer service
- Monitor driver performance, including on-time deliveries and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of vehicles
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure fleet maintenance standards are met
Skills:
- Experience in commercial driving, including tractor-trailer, box truck, or van driving
- Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Familiarity with courier services and route optimization software
