We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Service Foreman to lead our shop team, ensure quality repairs, mentor technicians, and keep workflow moving efficiently. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of diesel technicians in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Assign and prioritize repair orders to maximize shop productivity and efficiency.
- Assist technicians with complex diagnostics and difficult repairs.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet OEM and dealership standards.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to minimize downtime and improve communication.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and comeback prevention.
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians to improve skill levels and performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, dealership policies, and manufacturer procedures.
- Help manage shop scheduling, workflow, and repair turnaround times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience.
- Previous leadership, lead technician, or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills with International trucks, Cummins, Navistar, and other heavy-duty diesel platforms.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- ASE certifications and/or International OEM certifications are a plus.
